Give Me Compliments is designed to work without an account. We do not operate a user-profile or cloud-sync service for your compliment activity.

Data stored on your device

Favorites, recent history, likes and skips, app settings, Daily activity and reminder preferences, and Perfect One progress are stored locally on your device. Give Me Compliments does not receive this local app data on our own servers.

Advertising and ad privacy

To help keep the app free, Give Me Compliments uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google and its advertising partners may process information needed to request, deliver, measure, and protect ads, such as device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and consent choices, depending on your region, device settings, and consent.

Where required, the app provides Google’s ad privacy choices in Settings. We do not sell the local app data described above.

Sharing compliments

When you choose Share text or Share as a compliment card, the content is passed to Android’s share sheet or to the app you select. Give Me Compliments does not upload that shared compliment to our own server. The receiving app or service has its own privacy practices.

Daily reminders

Daily reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device after you grant notification permission. You can turn reminders off at any time in Give Me Compliments or in your device settings.

Contact and feedback

If you email us, your email address and anything you choose to include are transmitted through your email provider and received by us so we can respond to your message, provide support, and improve the app. We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or as required by law.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you change it, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Because Give Me Compliments does not require an account, there is no account profile to delete. If you want us to delete information you sent in a support email, contact us and tell us what you would like removed.

Third-party services

Google Mobile Ads and any apps or services you choose through Android’s share sheet operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Their handling of information is controlled by those providers, not by Give Me Compliments.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our services, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above will be revised when we make material changes.
